Descripción
This project-based learning plan introduces preschool students (ages 3-5) to the five senses in English: sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Through engaging, hands-on activities and collaborative exploration, children will learn to identify each sense and connect it to everyday experiences. This learning is essential as it helps children understand how they interact with the world around them, enhancing their vocabulary and cognitive skills in English while promoting curiosity and sensory awareness. The plan encourages active participation, teamwork, and creativity, culminating in the creation of a “My Five Senses Book” that students can take home to share with their families, strengthening connections between school and home life. By learning in context, students will develop foundational language skills and a deeper appreciation for their bodies and environment in a joyful, playful way.
